MEAN WELL introduced the new “RSP-2400 series” – 2400W enclosed type switching power supply with power factor correction (PFC) function – to fill up the gap of parallel models between 1500W and 3000W. The new series phase-in allows MEAN WELL to offer users the complete high power product coverage along with various options by different wattages of 500W, 600W, 1000W, 1500W, 2400W and 3000W.
RSP-2400 is implemented the innovative low power loss circuit design which makes the efficiency up to 91.5%. Featuring 12.5W/ in3 of extreme high power density, RSP-2400 series can provide full output power up to 50℃. With the trim function, output voltage can be adjusted from 20% to 110% rated voltage by adding 1~5.5V of external control voltage which provide users great flexibility for their system design. RSP-2400 is also implemented advanced digital control technique that use microprocessor to deal with the power management job. It significantly increases the flexibility of PSU control and reduces the part count in the same time. To fulfill the requirements of high wattage applications from system users, RSP-2400 can triple the output wattage by the built-in parallel function.
Besides the standard functions of remote sense, remote ON/OFF control, 12V/0.1A auxiliary output, and alarm signal output (both relay and TTL signal), RSP-2400 series use “constant current limiting plus delay shutdown” as the overload protection which enable the unit to power capacitive/inductive load and still provide full protection for customers’ system in the same time. If you need a continuous constant current for charging purpose, just select through the jumper then the “shut-down” mechanism can be cancelled. In addition, all series comply with UL, CUL, TUV, CB and CE can greatly guarantee your safety. Applications include LCD panel burn-in system, IC testing equipment, instrumentation, telecom/datacom, laser-carving machine, factory automation, and battery charging etc….
