New ELP-75 Series

With the increasing energy cost and concern of environmental protection, the requirement for energy-saving of energy related products have become much more serious. In response to the worldwide green trend and to meet the low power consumption requirement, MEAN WELL introduced a new series of power supply with green concept~ ELP-75 series, 75W AC/DC open frame type switching power supply. Featuring high efficiency, low no-load power consumption and cost effective, these PCB type PSU are designed to install directly into system chassis that don’t need any enclosure. Compared to the first generation of slim PCB type LPS-75 series, the working efficiency of ELP-75 increased by 5~11% and the no load power consumption is also below 0.5W which can be applied to many end systems required perfect energy-saving characteristics.


With up-to-date high efficiency circuit design, ELP-75 series features with 90~264VAC full range AC input and possesses up to 90% of high efficiency. Hence, it can be cooled by free air convection from -30℃ to +70℃ ambient temperature that required for operating in a closed system. Built-in active PFC function, these new power units can fulfill the requirement of EN61000-3-2 for harmonic current, which can reduce the interference caused by AC main to the end system. Perfect protection functions include short circuit, overload, and over voltage. In addition, ELP-75 features with extreme low no-load power consumption ( <0. 5W), which allows the designers easily conform to the requirements of ErP norm (Energy-related Products) for end systems. These units also comply with certificates per UL/CUL/TUV/CB/CE which can greatly guarantee your safety. Suitable applications include factory automation, electrical and mechanical industry, and all usage that requires low no load power consumption and high operating efficiency.
