In response to the increasing energy price and the global warming problem, LED related application imbued with energy-saving concept is thriving nowadays. To accommodate the growing scope of LED lighting market, many industrial countries established LED related policies to support this prospective industry. After launching constant current (C.C.) mode models LPC-20 (20W), MEAN WELL introduced another 18W economical C.C. mode product ~ LPLC-18 and LPHC-18 series ~ to fulfill the increasing demands of LED lighting, decorative lighting, and general high dust/moisture applications. With non-PFC design, LPLC-18 (90~132VAC of input range) and LPHC-18 (180~264VAC of input range) could be the most cost- competitive LED power supplies of MEAN WELL’s existing C.C. mode models.
Filling with heat-conducted glue, LPLC-18 and LPHC-18 series can operate between -25 ~ +70℃ by only free air convection and has the internal shock absorber to withstand vibration. The IP67 structure, which is fully potted by glue and enclosed by plastic case with 94V-0 fire prevention level, can protect the electronic components against from dust and moisture that makes them can be used at harsh locations. Other standard functions / features include short circuit, over load, over voltage, and over temperature protections and wire-style input/output (18AWG*2) for flexible installation. Typical applications include LED electronic displays, LED wash-wall lighting, LED-based decorative/architectural lighting, LED stage and theater lighting.
